Horrible week

Hi guys,so sorry not been about for awhile yet again but had the most awful last 10 days.First off Connor decided to leave which I am truly not sorry about at all it is a relief we were not getting on and things we're getting nasty between us,trouble is he went with my months rent money and the council tax too,nice touch!!! dropped me well in the cart also 1 bag of coal left it was his turn to buy the next lot.Then overnight I developed the most dreadful cold virus and Bronchitis,still have it but feeling I have turned the corner to recovery today.Poor Xena has only been having a taste of exercise as just could not take her very far but bless her she seemed to know her mum not well and has just curled up with me on my arm chair for most of the days.My daughter came over from Manchester and stayed a couple of days,then came back again last night with a bucket load of cough mix and flu drinks,fresh lemons and manuka honey.We did walk xena out for 45 mins but it really wore me out.Her and my son-in-law coming to stay next weekend to chain saw all the logs up that have been left since last summer and should have been done,my chain sawing days are over have not got the strength now and the logs are big and heavy.My poor dad has been beside himself and keeps phoning me he can't seem to comprehend that I was not well enough to go and see him and my mum who herself has not been too good either.My daughter went to see them and even she says they are becoming challenging and a worry.I am hoping to feel fit enough to go to them tomorrow.
So thats my news,will now catch up on the latest on here.Hope you guys are all fine and dandy.Kristina

What a horrible time you've had! Sending you both massive hugs, I hope you're feeling better and are on the mend. Xena sounds like she's been an excellent nurse maid for you, and she definitely won't begrudge a few walks if she gets to curl up with you and have cuddles!

It sounds like you're better off without Connor, he clearly wasn't putting his fair share of effort in, and now you can concentrate on yourself and Xena and not have to worry about looking after him! What a sh*t to leave with the rent and council tax (excuse my french, but he is!) - I hope it hasn't left you in too much trouble.

Any thoughts on the next phase with your parents if they're becoming such a challenge? It's never nice to think that you can't provide all that they need, but it's sometimes good to take a step back and think practically for the future - whether that's a long way off or closer than you'd like.

Thanks Kimmikins,life's a bitch sometimes but I will be ok just need to get fit and healthy to better deal with the sh-t that has been thrown at me,as for my parents well it's closer to the time when I will be asking for some help for them,in the meantime life goes on.I have a wonderful daughter who is my back bone,funny how the tables turn that way.I now look after my mum and dad after all the years they looked after me,I looked after my own kids for years now they look after me too.
I did manage to walk Xena down the woods this morning,she so enjoyed it and was as good as gold,again this evening for just half an hour a road walk.
I am going away for a couple of days with my daughter and son-in-law on Wednesday Xena is booked into kennels,have to do this,hate the idea but I need to do this and want her safe,they are a very small select kennels only 8 lovely people highly recommended too.
Will let you know how she fares.Kristina
