Hi guys again sorry not been around for a bit just so busy and then get tired also my pc is in Connors room so can't always get on it if he is working on some thing.
Well do you remember me telling you about the black Lab that walks up the road soooooo good his name is Sam his owner an elderly man who always speaks but refuses Sam and Xena to meet so I have to cross the road!! Well the other night I took Xena up the road it was freezing and very dark,I had my woolie hat on pulled right down across my nose,had my torch and off we went,I swear I never heard or saw this man until Xena started pulling on her harness and then he and Sam suddenly appeared right in front of us.Well this man went mad and of course Sam the Lab wanted to say hello to Xena,the next thing this poor dog is on the ground being beaten with a torch which he never had on!!! Xena knew this was not good and went behind my legs,I pleaded with him to stop saying I was sorry my fault I did'nt see him coming he just said I do not want him meeting other dogs??
Well you know what I live in a very small community and now every one knows about this incident and I avoid him totally,he has tried to aplogise but I am having none of it.They took Sam to training school but did'nt agree with them apparently,such a sad life this dog must live.

It's been snowing here big time and also freezing I am undecided whether to risk the paths or not tonight,I drove today but slid all over the place was so scary.

What a horrible man! That poor dog, he deserves to have a much better life than he appears to have - dogs should be able to say hello to other dogs I'm sorry you had to experience that, but I'm glad the community now know what an awful man he is.

If it's icy, I'd be tempted to skip an evening walk, just for safety. I'd hate to hear you'd fallen, and Xena will be fine to not have an evening walk.

oh thats really awful . What a horrible thing to witness.  Poor dog .
 If that ever happens again would it be worth reporting it to the RSPCA?
