raincoat

Weather has been miserable today ....non stop rain with some pretty heavy showers so I thinm I need to be looking at getting domino a raincoat. He has a fleece lined one but thats too warm for just now. Any recomendations folks? Domino is long and thin so have a job getting something to fit well on him and now with only 3 legs not sure what would be best.

I hate the thought of the wet days ahead but know the rain is on it's way to us supposedly overnight here,as for coats well not sure I bought Xena a coat last winter when she was little,rain proof with a sheep skin lining would she wear it of course not now it's probobly too small as she is bigger I feel than Domino not by much and it's blue too,will try it on her Jordan and see and think about just 3 legs if I feel it's any good for him I would be happy to send it up to you.I also still have my old shepherds high-viz rain coat she only wore it a couple of times bless her cost me quite a bit too,time to sell it on I feel it's very big would do for a very large dog.I need a good rain coat also and a good pair of wellies too,just got so used to the stunning weather we have had wish it would last all the way through the year.Kristina

We got Sara a Hurtta Storm Hoodie a month ago in preparation for the weather ahead. She's really long too, and an awkward shape as her neck is so blooming long! I think the collar part is meant to be able to extend into a hood (hence the Hoodie name?) but as you can see that won't be possible on gawky Sara...


Still, at least it means her entire neck is covered, which probably wouldn't happen with other, traditional shaped coats. It has a handy slit in the neck part to allow you to clip the lead onto their collar, and fastens around the middle - it has the leg straps too, but they always seem to ride up her bum to her girly parts and looks most uncomfortable!

It's a nifty little thing, and lovely and bright for the darkening evenings! She hates it at the moment though, she prefers to be au naturel!

Hi guys sorry for being so long in replying.
Kristina thats very kind of you to offer Xenas coat for Domino, your such a lovely lady. He has a winter coat thats got a cosy lining already its just a thin waterproof I was thinking of getting for when its really wet but not cold but thank you anyway.

Kimmikins Sara looks fab in her waterproof it will certainly keep her dry, hope she gets used to it. I'm afraid they're a bit too pricy for my budget , was also hoping to get one that covers his underbelly which is a lot nearer the ground than Saras lol .
