Just heard the terrible news about all these dogs dying, it breaks my heart! So upset, these poor dogs they must have suffered terribly and the surviver dogs must be so traumatised. So glad they have the person responsible! its wonderful to know people are rallying round to help the remaining dogs. RIP little ones.
Astounding responce from the public in a very short time to offer help for this tragedy, over £50, 000 in donations and teams of builders offering to rebuild, not to mention the blankets, leads etc and foster homes in abundance for the surviving dogs. There are good people out there. Special mention for the two men who risked their lives to rescue the dogs. .
Such a tragic, vicious act...how heartless do you have to be to set fire to a building full of animals?! As of this afternoon, over £500,000 has been donated, as well as the blankets and supplies Kristina mentioned. Two men jumped the fence and tackled the blaze, and I hope they get the recognition they deserve. It breaks my heart to think of how they suffered, how the survivors must still be suffering.
I think if I allowed myself to think about it for too long, I'd be in floods of tears. The thoughts of the dogs crying out while the place burnt just breaks my heart!
