So it looks like we're getting a new puppy....

Another Bulgarian rescue, through the same people that saved Sara, www.facebook.com/SAR.Bulgaria. There were 4 of them dumped on a country lane, rescued by a lovely lady and currently being sheltered in a back garden with a make-do shelter. The one we are smitten with is the boy with the big ears 



The one on the right is the only girl, and she's looking for a home too, along with the other 2 boys. Head along to the link to check out the whole of their little family, with videos and everything.

Oh how wonderful Kimmikins, he looks gorgeous, look at these ears almost as big as him lol The little girl looks a bit nervous but equally adorable. How can peolple sleep at night knowing they've dumped these precious souls. so pleased they have been rescued. I hope thay all make it safely through and find loving forever homes.

I know, they're an awesome set of ears aren't they! There's one photo where one of the others is literally sheltering from the sun under his ears   Because Bulgaria doesn't have a spay/neuter programme or even a push for responsible ownership, if a dog has puppies they're just dumped out of the town or even in the town (often in/by bins) in the hope that they'll just disappear

He does have a mischievous look about him, doesn't he. Apparently he has a personality similar to Sara, but puppified, so I think they'd have a lot of fun together.

As for the little girl, she may have a home with a friend of mine   Another young couple who work, shifts, and have been turned down repeatedly by UK rescues. It'd be lovely to keep them close together so that they could meet up and play...and we think we have a name for Big Ears (though that will always be his nickname I think!) - Shadow. Because he looks like he has shadows on his fur, and his ears cast big ones!

Me too, they're so cute

There's so many needing homes though - abroad and here. sarahhound posted about this gorgeous older dog up in scotland who's been waiting for a home for over a year. It broke my heart at the thought of him being so wonderful, but constantly overlooked
