i do hope the pain in his back leg is nothing more than aching muscles from learning to use his other legs slightly differently - I have read that some tripod dogs can get sore pads where the weight is newly dispaced and the way they now walk, it puts pressure on places that didn't get used so much before. Good to see him, xx

Happy to say hes feeling a whole lot better, hes got that spark back in his eye. I think the Gabapentin has made the difference as i'd given him Tramadol over the weekend and he still had pain, or maybe its the combination. Whichever it is hes a lot happier.
Theres a tiny bit of seeping from the incision today at the lower end, phoned the vet and he says keep it clean with salt water and it will get checked on Friday when we go back to get stitches out.
