No more running the fields up back now the sheep and little lambs are in it! They were really handy for a good play and runaround when I was short of time for a walk.


Do any of your walks dissapear from time to time

The nearest special-purpose dog field closes between Nov and April, so that used to be a pain in terms of somewhere safe for Sara to run.

The route we cycle along gets cows in it sometimes, which puts a kink in our cycling! Cows are scary!!

I am scared of cows too Kimmikins they are big animals and you never know what they are thinking I avoid them big time,the woods where I go every day is said not to be safe for a couple of months August--September-- a nasty type of infection? not sure on this yet and not been confirmed will ask around,it was said to be bad last year,several dogs caught it and died from it so I am aware will just have to find another freedom walk for Xena thats safe.Kristina

Me too! I like a good fence between me and cows, for all that they are big they cant half move quick. I will turn back rather than walk through a field if cows are in it even if theyre at the other end of it. The fields up back usually have cows not sheep in them and they were often out on the path and wandered down to the houses..........they put a new fence up last year.

Dont like the sound of that Kristina what would cause something like that? Hope you find an alternative place for Xena thats safe.
