Have to say animal CPR is not something I had ever thought about but as we all have pets thought it would be good to post this video. In the comments there is a guide to how it should be done and worth reading just in case the worst should ever happen.
For those who are curious about dog/cat CPR; the right side of the animal should be on the ground. You'll want to focus compressions (on the left side where the heart is located) right around the 4-5th rib space. You'll want to do continuous compressions with two hands (one on top of the other), unlike the man in this video with intermittent oxygen being breathed into the nose and mouth. Do your best to close any gaps that would allow air to escape during breaths. I won't overcomplicate it, but it's nearly identical to human CPR. Try to remain as calm as possible, but I realize it's extremely difficult when it's your own pet we're talking about.
