I've just found some medic alert dog tags that are for dogs, but they all seem to be from the US. Didn't even know you could get them but its a great idea and thought id get one for Domino now hes on meds for his seizures. Anyone know of a UK site.
I don't but there is a lady on our local market that will engrave any thing and noticed she had some Medic Alert disc's on her stall!!! I just had Xena's info engraved on her little bone thing that attaches to her collor as she will not be allowed into training school without it!! Law now apparantly but's thats fine have no worries about that a good thing I feel,it actually jangles when she moves about so I can hear where she is at all times so a thing too from my point.Kristina
K9 tags are good, they don't have a specific medic alert one, but they do have a vet one that can be engraved on the back. Scrumpy and Sara both have K9 tags, and they're holding up really well. Scrumpy's on his second one, but that's after the first one wore out after 5 years.
Or, there's specific medic alert tags that can be engraved on the front with the condition, and then emergency contact details on the back. I've never used these though, and they don't look as good quality as the K9 ones.

Yes these are like the ones i saw. Some of them seemed to have a code or something you contacted to get info from a data base a bit like you do with a chip. If its just a disc engraved then i will check with my local pet shop and see if tgey have any med alert ones if not will order one of these. Thanks for link.
Just to say also Xena's disk came back from the Micro Chip people but the clip is so bad on it she broke it off within hours, will be putting my own key ring secure clip on,she'll just be jangling Kristina
