Adopting a one eyed piggy!

Just before Christmas I phoned the SSPCA looking for a buddy for Ringo (his friend Milo died a few months ago). They had one who had just had surgery to remove his eye. So I thought that was meant to be after Todd having his out, and they took my details, saying I'd be contacted when he was ready to be re-homed.



Well sadly, the piggy, Rolo, is in foster care right now because he's not doing so well and he needed the extra TLC they couldn't give him at the rescue centre. The wound from having his eye removed has turned into an abcess, so he's struggling a bit now. I'm in touch with his foster Mum who says that although he's quite poorly, he's strong, so she's hopeful he is going to fight it.



If he does, she says she's going to make sure they adopt him to me She says it will be a few weeks yet though, because he is on anti-biotics for a while yet. Good vibes that he pulls though please!

I was going to say that they both look really similar. Poor little guy, keeping fingers and paws crossed that the wound heals soon so that he can come to his new home. I love the name Rolo

 yes they do look a like and hopefully its meant to be and Rolo will be with you soon .

 I'm embarrassed to say that William and harry looked very alike and one time I took harry to the vet and said it was William

Has to be a sign him looking almost identical to Milo. Hope this wee guy gets well soon. fingers crossed.
