...or should that be kitten sitting TAILS I'm here all week!
Our neighbours are away in New York for New Year's, and originally they were going to put the kittens into a cattery. Me and my OH discussed this briefly...then told them they weren't allowed! I'm not at work until the end of Jan, so there's no need for them to be locked up in a cattery.
This morning, I went over with my cuppa and fed them, then I left the patio doors slightly open while I went to the garage to feed their bunny. They like to come in and say hi to Bruce, and often come into his run while he's being fed for some kitten kisses and general booping. This morning Rusty followed after a little while, and after saying hello through the fence he decided to take advantage of substitute teacher time to go exploring for mischief in the garage. He saw a box on top of a cabinet, and decided it absolutely needed exploring...so jumped up onto it....and fell in rofl It was so funny! And then he tried to shake it off, as if he'd meant to do that all along. Silly boy!
I'm not a cat fan either, even now I'm still not a fan of other cats. But these two are just adorable, and such lovely boys. One loves to snuggle, and is a total purr machine, and the other is like the handsome but dumb character. He's never lost his kitten face, and is always getting into trouble!
He came into our house today - I think they've gotten so used to me looking after them that they assumed our house was an extension of their house....and then he saw Sara and jumped out of his skin before bolting back out of the door. We'll have them all friends eventually!
Its' never going to happen with Scrumpy Jack, he once bolted out of the front door when he saw a cat...ran at it and head butted it so hard! This poor cat went flying, I don't think it really thought Scrumpy would go through with it. With Sara and the kittens they all want to be friends, but Sara's so big and invites play by bouncing. The kittens are super brave when her back is turned though, lol!
