Every now and again I am asked if I can help re-home a dog..
the latest request is from a young girl, who has loved this dog, when she took him on her circumstances were different .. five years later she cannot give him what he needs.
Rusio is known to me, I worked on him for depression and chronic stress. He is very loving, very cuddly and affectionate, he has made good recovery but going into rescue will set him back, maybe too far. Also Rusio is aggressive towards other dogs, so wont pass a temperament test and would more than likely be pts. I have not witnessed him out of doors or worked on his aggression as funds wouldn't allow...I gave the owners the information that they would need ..but they have not had time to work on it nor the funds to proceed.
Rusio is a mastiff x rottwieller a 'mastweiller' he is approximately 5 or 6, unneutered ..probably advisable (unless his aggression towards other dogs is a fear aggression) he is up to date on vaccinations.
If you know of a patient, kind-hearted home, preferably a 'low stress' home for this big hearted gentle cuddle-monster ... ( I don't know how he is with young children, so would not take the chance for his sake) please get in touch and I will pass you on to the owner.

god bless him he is gorgeous ..sits between your legs facing forward and looks up at you 'upside down' I have a soft spot for him, he was so sad when I met him first, last time I saw him he was bouncy and just adorable. I really don't want to see him surrendered.

He is a handsome boy, what a shame they can't keep him any more. I hope he finds a home and doesn't have to go to a shelter! I don't know if we can share threads via FB or Twitter...Dani would probably be the one who knows!
I have tweeted this thread just now,if anybody else would like to,copy the link and paste, very simple really (says the techophobe here hehe) . . . . . was just having a peep and am so sad this boy has to be rehomed, remember his story from the old place, sounds like he has made such a fantastic progress,I am keeping every bone in my bone crossed that he will find a great forever home with the time to invest to get the best out of him
(god he s stunning, hoping somebody will come along to help this handsome cuddle bug out before its to late )
A massive thank you to 'Dogs Today Magazine' for allowing the link to this thread on their fb page !! If you could put your e-mail or any other way to contact you Adrianne, you never know,Rusio's potential new owner might be reading this right now
