New day for Xena, today I took her to the dog training school in a nearby village,it was freezing,it's held in a field which I think is brilliant, left her in my car while I went to look at what was going on,the puppy class was having an end of course competition.Well there was a lovely lab puppy called Biggles! a gorgeous Springer (can't remember it's name) a Norfolk terrier Sonia, and a staffie pup called daisy.Have to say the Springer won outright, lovely young girl owner well switched on to that dog she was brilliant but on a Halti which disappointed me somewhat. However I walked back to my car and took Xena out and let her have her first walk about in the big wide world, then took her into the building where everyone has a cup of something and a good chat, she was of course star of the day as she is so young and pretty, she went from owner to owner and met some beautiful dogs most of all a lovely long coated shepherd which just melted my heart,a collie that looked like her dad and would you believe a golden lab that looked just like her mum, well Xena was in her element loved all of everyone was nervy of some of the big dogs but they were all sooooo good with her just a wonderful morning. We start classes in January, she's already booked in for fly ball too, yeah! neither can I but next course starts in January so will be doing my best with her until then, don't want to start as a total derbrain, but she's clever and very trying!!!Marykay
