I'm borrowing the hybrids tomorrow to help with a ' brittle dog syndrome' case, we have made enormous progress with a wee collie who is nervous of everything..the hybrids are fabulous..silent and calm... no sudden or fast movements and incredibly gentle, She already worked with cupes, so now we are upping the level to more people and more dogs.. She gains confidence each time she achieves something...next stop will be a supermarket carpark to condition her to people ignoring her, and her them...it's a long process, but she makes progress so it's worth while.

Can just imagine how funny that looks howling I couldn't howl anyway or don't think I could love the idea though Adrianne of running around in a circle will be trying that out although Xena does come back,my LA-LA-LA works perfect for her and have to say she is getting even better down the woods, off lead she is ace in the garden and in the house forget it! to her it's her playtime. Also out road walking she has gotton sooooo much better,I can now stop and chat with any one and she will just sit and wait until we have have finished chatting, also have got to tell you the perfect black lab that walks by---well Connor was out in the front yesterday (I was at my mum's) the lab walked by and Connor was chatting to his lady owner who just happens to work at the same place he does, well while they were chatting the lab just got up and wondered into our front garden,Connor said I guess he's slipped his lead and is looking for Xena but in fact he had chewed through his lead while they were chatting!!!! Connor took hold of him and made a make shift lead for the lady so she could walk him back home, this lovely lab goes nowhere apart from up the road and his own garden, sad I feel dogs need freedom to run and play explore it's what they love to do and if they come back to you happy to do so what could be better.Kristina
