I have bought a cat food maze which doesn't seem very cat user friendly to me but there are cats on You Tube who seem to have fun with it. After a couple of demonstrations Neko the Snowshoe has got the hang of it whilst Elwood and Lola sit and watch his attempts to get the biscuits out. Are they learning from his demonstration? Not at all they are waiting for the biscuits to drop out so they can gobble them up whilst he does all the work.
The only one who is interested is Neko - the others have no interest at all. I think it's too cumbersome for the smaller cats so we are waiting for a Catmosphere ball to arrive.

Sounds to me that they've learnt from his demonstration after all...they've learnt that Neko will get the food out for them
Looking forward to hearing if the others enjoy the catmosphere ball!

Occasionally I do 'Ball' walks, mainly if I have an older dog who mooches along, and then I lob balls around for the other dogs so they don't get bored with the dawdling!!
I have 2 Labradors who the owners class as 'lazy' and 'a bit stupid'. When we start ball throwing, some of the more 'clever' dogs ruin after the balls, bring them back ready to go again, some get the ball and don't want to give it up so I have my own method of dealing with that!!
The 'lazy, stupid' dogs, after 3 or 4 throws, stay 'out field' and sit where I have been throwing the ball. Then they are near enough the first to get the ball each time!
Now are they stupid, or clever! I think I know!!!
